Howto create Rules to your existing Campaigns (Zt ver1)
Prior to automating your PPC ad campaigns, your campaign thresholds need to be defined.
Each campaign needs to implement 6 rules or campaign thresholds prior to automation. You can see these as data fields on your Rules popup.
7 Campaign/PGN Rules
Target Max ACoS %
Relevancy Sales
Min Action Clicks #
Max KW Spend $
Min Bid $
Max Bid $
Change Rate % (change rate percentage)
There are no right or wrong values, as the system would allow you to plug in whatever values you want to use, but of course, there are values which will work in your favor and those which will not and just erode whatever profits you are gaining by making your ad campaigns bleed.
To access Threshold Builder:
Open your Campaigns dashboard.
Click the Rules icon (gears).
On the Rules popup, click Open Threshold Builder.
To set up your Rules using Threshold Builder:
On your ThresholdBuilder:
Enter your Product Sale Price. This is the sale price of your product in this specific campaign. It answers the question: how much do you sell your product for on your listing? If you have multiple products in a campaign and have different sale prices, it is suggested to use the Average Product Sale price of all the products advertised on the said campaign.
Enter your Expected PPC Profit. Your Expected PPC Profit depends on why you are running your campaign. a) Your Expected PPC Profit % is zero (0) - if you are running this campaign for traffic and visibility and not profit. This is for cases when you want to reacha break-even level and gain traffic, or when you want to launch a campaign to create awareness of your product for marketing (also known as visibility purposes). b) Your Expected PPC Profit % is your target value - if you are running the campaign to make some profit, then the value will depend on your expectation
Open your Campaigns dashboard:
From the Spend CPC column, copy your Average CPC and paste this value on Threshold Builder.
Copy your CR7 and paste this value on Threshold Builder.
When getting the Conversion Rate, always make sure to use your CR7 as Zon Tools runs Rules by 7's, so we want to make sure that the data we are using are also by 7's.
Go to Threshold Builder, and keep the Bid Change Speed as 20%, the default value. Zon Tools limits your daily bid adjustments up to 20% by default, to accomodate data delays by Amazon.
Click Apply to Save Converted Thresholds, to save all your Rules or campaign thresholds.
This action triggers the system to populate the 6 Rules of this specific campaign. Expect all these Rules to take effect instantly.
To verify your campaigns are now fully automated
Go to your Campaigns dashboard.
Check the Max Spend/Max ACoS column. All campaigns with Unset! value should now be converted to actual values.
