Carbon6 has recently joined forces with Wallysmarter, an all-in-one data management platform specifically built for Walmart.com.
By acquiring WallySmarter, Carbon6 is beginning a new phase of their ecommerce ecosystem, entering the Walmart seller space for the first time.
Carbon6 CEO Justin Cobb acknowledges that Amazon is the largest ecommerce platform, but that allowing sellers to have the same level of support on other marketplaces will enable them not be solely dependent on the retail giant. The Carbon6 mission is to simplify success for marketplace entrepreneurs, and that includes platforms beyond Amazon.
“As marketplace sales continue to grow, Walmart has become a major contender in the ecommerce world," said Carbon6 Chief Strategy Officer Tim Jordan.
“I've spent more than 3 years learning the ins and outs of Walmart from the eyes of an ecommerce seller,” Jordan continued, “And I can honestly say there's never been a more impactful tool than WallySmarter for beginner to enterprise sellers on Walmart."
On his cutting edge software, the founder and CEO of WallySmarter, Lewis Civin, says that Walmart’s lack of best seller rank can be a challenge for sellers – but that’s where the WallySmarter platform comes in. WallySmarter has its own proven algorithm to help sellers identify Walmart.com rank and performance, keyword search volume and competitive analysis tools.
This latest addition to Carbon6’s suite of tools is one of the first steps towards supporting sellers and businesses in more diverse ecommerce areas.
