Compliance Info Moving to Account Health Dashboard 5/22/2025
Starting May 29, 2025, Amazon will begin moving all product and food safety compliance details from the Manage Your Compliance dashboard to the Policy Compliance section in the Account Health dashboard.
This update allows sellers to manage policy violations, upload documents, submit appeals, and work with verification providers—all from one place. Until the migration is complete in July 2025, sellers should monitor both dashboards.
Access resources and tutorials once the changes roll out. A May 27 webinar will guide sellers on using the updated dashboard effectively.
Buyer-Seller Messaging Now Stricter on Opt-Out Rules 5/21/2025
Amazon has updated Buyer-Seller Messaging to better respect buyer preferences. Sellers can still message buyers about order-related issues, but marketing content remains prohibited.
The option to mark messages as “[Important]” to bypass opt-outs has been removed. Only essential messages needed to complete an order will now reach opted-out buyers.
Amazon recommends using its message templates, which include order IDs, auto-translate, and proper tagging.

New Tools to Streamline Send to Amazon Shipments 5/14/2025
Amazon has added two updates to the Send to Amazon workflow to help sellers manage shipments more efficiently—an important highlight in recent Amazon Seller Central news.
You can now check if shipments qualify for Amazon-optimized splits during setup. This applies to:
- Individual units
- Case packs
- Pallet templates
Also, Step 2: Confirm Shipping now displays an estimated total cost, including the FBA inbound placement service fee and shipping costs via PCP or SEND rates. These are estimates only; you’ll only be charged if you use PCP.
For domestic shipments, the system picks the most cost-effective option between small parcel and LTL shipping.
For full details, visit the 2025 FBA inbound placement service fee.
New Fee Adjustments Based on Carrier-Verified Shipment Measurements 5/12/2025
Starting 06/12/2025, Amazon will apply fee adjustments for domestic U.S. shipments using the Partnered Carrier Program when there’s a mismatch between the measurements you enter and what the carrier records. This update is part of recent Amazon Seller Central news.
If your shipment’s weight, size, or freight class (if used) is:
- Overstated, you’ll receive a credit.
- Understated, you’ll incur a charge.
Notifications appear in the Inbound Performance dashboard to alert you of any differences.
To check:
- Go to the dashboard
- Click Inaccurate transportation weight/dims
- Select View details
For more, see the Partnered Carrier program FAQ.
FBA Fees for Apparel and Bags to Be Lowered with New Size-Based Pricing 4/18/2025
Amazon is updating how it calculates Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) fees for clothing, accessories, backpacks, and handbags. Starting May 15, 2025, most items in these categories will have lower FBA fees.
Here’s what’s changing:
- Fees will be based only on the parcel size and unit weight, instead of using the higher of unit weight or dimensional weight.
- Seven new parcel size tiers will be added for clothing, accessories, backpacks, and handbags.
- Backpacks and handbags will no longer have returns processing fees, even for high-return items. If any return fees were charged since February 1, 2025, they will be refunded automatically.
These changes will apply to several Amazon FBA programs across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, including Pan-European FBA, the European Fulfilment Network, and Remote Fulfilment between the UK and EU.
There are no changes to Low-Price FBA or oversize item fees. Full details are available on the 2025 FBA fulfilment fee changes page.
UK Multi-Channel Fulfilment Fees Changing on May 15, 2025 4/14/2025
Amazon will update its UK Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF) fees starting May 15, 2025. These changes include new size categories and fee adjustments to make pricing clearer and more efficient.
Here’s what’s changing:
- New Light Envelope category for items starting at 20 g. Fees for envelopes will drop by about 2.7%.
- Extra Large Envelope (960 g) orders with multiple items will be up to 12% cheaper.
- No changes to small and standard parcel rates.
- Lower fees for small parcels weighing 3.9 kg.
- Oversize pricing simplified: Going from 27 bands to 12, with a base fee plus a charge per kg. Oversize fees will go up about 2.8% on average.
These updates aim to keep fulfilment fast and reliable across all your sales channels.

Clarified on Vine Review Aggregation and Retention Limits 4/14/2025
Amazon has clarified how Vine reviews are counted and retained, especially when merging product listings.
- Reviews are grouped by parent ASIN, not by individual product variations. To keep things organized, enroll all variations of a product at the same time and plan any ASIN merges carefully.
- Review limits depend on how many units you enroll:
- Top Tier (11–30 units): Keep up to 30 reviews.
- Middle Tier (3–10 units): Keep up to 10 reviews.
- Free Tier (1–2 units): Keep up to 2 reviews.
- Merging listings? If you combine two parent ASINs, the new one can only keep reviews based on the highest single tier. For example, merging two listings with 30 reviews each still means you can only keep 30 reviews total, not 60.
For full details, visit the Track your Vine reviews page.
Personalized Restock Tips Now Rolling Out to FBM Sellers 3/20/2025
Amazon has introduced a Restock recommendation feature in Seller Central to help Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) sellers manage inventory more effectively. Using recent sales data and AI-powered demand forecasting, the tool suggests restock quantities and timelines for items with less than 14 days of supply.
Key features include:
- Restock quantity suggestions based on current stock and two-week demand.
- Estimated days of supply per item.
- Eight-week demand forecasts using AI.
The feature is currently available to 50% of US-based FBM sellers and will reach all sellers by 04/18/2025. To access it, go to Manage Inventory and select Restock notification in the Inventory column.
Learn more in the Restock recommendation article.
Remove Heat-Sensitive FBA Items by April 15 Deadline 3/20/2025
Amazon has announced that meltable products must be removed from FBA inventory by April 15, 2025. From April 15 to October 15, 2025, fulfillment centers will not accept any meltable items.
Any remaining meltable stock after April 15 may be marked unfulfillable and could be disposed of, with fees beginning May 1, 2025.
